Becoming a Volunteer Firefighter
What does it take to become a volunteer firefighter? The Town & Country Fire Department is seeking men and women interested in serving as volunteers for their community. Becoming a volunteer is very hard work and requires long hours, but it can also be very rewarding. The Town & Country Fire Department prides itself on providing an outstanding service for the citizens and businesses we protect. The selection of volunteers is based on the needs of the department. Volunteers are provided with firefighting safety equipment which is maintained by the department. Our members range in age from 18 to 65 and the one thing they all have in common is that they are all volunteers, dedicated to helping others.
