Wednesday August 4th 2010.- At 1542 T&C Units were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident rollover on Oak Hill Rd in the Town of Horseheads. 1633 Responded and was assisted on scene by Horseheads Village Police and the Chemung County Sheriff’s Dept. Units cleared at 1620.
Thursday July 29th 2010.- At 1841 Hours T&C Units responded to a 2 Car Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the Intersection of State Route 13 and Terry Hill Rd. Incident Command was established by Chief 1601. Rescue 1681 responded with four firefighters and Rescue Engine 1633 responded with six firefighters. Erway Ambulance along with New York State Police, Chemung County Sheriff’s Dept., and the Village of Horseheads Police assisted T&C Units on scene. Back in Service at 1937 Hours.
Tuesday July 13th 2010.- At 1216 Hours T&C Units were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the Intersection of State Route 13 and East Franklin Street. Rescue Engine 1633 responded to the scene with a full crew. Upon arrival, Incident Command was established by Chief 1601. Rescue 1681 also responded with more manpower. Assisting T&C units were Erway Ambulance, New york State Police, and the Village of Horseheads Police. T&C Units back in service 1300 hours.
Sunday July 4th 2010.- At 2121 Hours T&C Units responded to a ATV Accident with injuries at the Intersection of Veteran Hill Rd and W Sullivanville Rd. Responding to the scene with a full crew was Rescue Engine 1633. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the ATV to be over an embankment. Erway Ambulance assisted firefighters with rescue operations. New York State Police also assisted with traffic control. Units were back in service at 2200 hours.
Friday July 2nd 2010.- At 1622 T&C Units were dispatched to a Hydraulic Leak coming from Tractor Trailer on I-86. Rescue Engine 1633 responded to the scene with a full crew. Upon arrival, firefighters were able to contain the leak. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Dept. assisted on scene with traffic control. Units cleared shortly before 1800 hours.
