On October 7, 2007 Town & Country firefighters Chris Walton and Mike Rose had the chance to accompany the Horseheads Village Fire Department to Emmitsburg, MD to attend the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. They were there honoring fallen firefighters across the nation including Richard G. Sullivan, former Fire Chief for the Horseheads Village Volunteer Fire Department. They also had the extraordinary opportunity to hear a moving speech by President Bush. The families of the fallen firefighters even had the opportunity to meet and chat with the president after his speech. Firefighters Walton and Rose are grateful for the chance to have attended such a memorable event.
